Tracy, San Joaquin County
Three interstates, 5, 205 and 580, form a triangle around Tracy, and that location has made the city a center for warehouses and trucking. A military supply depot has operated on the edge of town since World War II, and large retailers now run distribution centers nearby. Tracy also keeps a small downtown along Central Avenue, anchored by the Grand Theatre, opened in 1923.
